Novel flash free APC brackets: An in vitro study

نویسندگان

چکیده

Objective: To analyze the time taken for bonding, degree of flash, marginal leakage, bond strength and Adhesive Remnant Index APC flash free brackets PLUS brackets. Materials Methods: 80 extracted human teeth (group A: flash-free adhesive n = 40, group B: Plus 40) were used to evaluate all parameters mentioned above. Results: The needed bonding differed significantly between two groups (A: 22.8s/ tooth; 35.8 s/tooth). excess ranged from 206.6 µm 87.7 A) 872.9 325.5 B). leakage was observed be higher in B. mean shear A found 12.7 Mpa while B had shown 10.47 Mpa. maximum percentage sample ARI 2. All significant difference (p< 0.05) groups. Conclusion: reduced adequate strength. new technology seems facilitate a smooth adhesive-bracket adhesive-tooth surface, which clinically might improve reduction plaque accumulation.
